Terms of Use

Welcome to CodeBazaar (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Definitions

  • User: any person who accesses the Platform.
  • Buyer: user who acquires Items.
  • Author: user who publishes Items (also governed by the Author Terms).
  • Item: a digital product offered for sale.
  • License: the contract that governs Item use.

2. User Account

2.1 Registration

You must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. Automated, false or duplicate registrations may be suspended.

2.2 Security

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activities performed under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2.3 Age

You declare to be at least 18 years old or to have proper legal representation.

3. Permitted Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Try to access restricted areas or other users' accounts.
  • Reverse-engineer, mass-scrape or attack (DoS, injection, brute force).
  • Publish offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or infringing content.
  • Collect data from other users without consent.
  • Interfere with the Platform's operation.

4. Published Content

Responsibility for Item content lies entirely with the Author. CodeBazaar performs reasonable review but does not guarantee the absence of errors, vulnerabilities or compliance with Buyer-specific legislation.

We reserve the right to remove any Item that violates these Terms, applicable laws or third-party rights.

5. Payments

  • Prices are displayed in BRL and/or other supported currencies, with applicable taxes where required.
  • Payments are processed via partner gateways (Stripe, Mercado Pago, PIX). You may be subject to the provider's terms.
  • Fraud attempts result in immediate suspension and may be reported to authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The brand, Platform software, design and editorial content belong to CodeBazaar.
  • Published Items belong to their Authors, under the attached licenses.
  • Reproducing any part of the Platform without express authorization is prohibited.

7. Privacy

Personal-data processing follows our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform available 24/7 but do not guarantee the absence of interruptions, failures or data loss. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeBazaar is not liable for:

  • Damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform.
  • Content, quality or suitability of Items.
  • Conduct of other users.
  • Lost profits, data loss, indirect or consequential damages.

The Platform's total liability is limited to the amount effectively paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold CodeBazaar, its affiliates, directors and employees harmless from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of the Platform or breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance by email and/or notice on the Platform. Continued use after that period implies acceptance.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice when warranted.

13. Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The Court of São Paulo/SP is elected, waiving any other.
